Job Description
• Ensure all welding activities comply with Saudi Aramco Standards (SAES), Project Specifications, and international codes (e.g., ASME, AWS, API).
• Verify that welders are qualified and certified as per project requirements.
• Inspect welding joints before, during, and after welding to ensure adherence to approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Conduct in-process welding inspections to verify parameters like voltage, current, travel speed, and heat input.
• Monitor welding techniques to prevent defects such as porosity, undercut, lack of fusion, and cracks.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
