Job Description
Review project specifications, ITPs, SAES-H-001 (Coating Materials), and SAES-H-002 (Surface Preparation and Application)
Inspect surface cleanliness and profile (anchor pattern) per SSPC/NACE or ISO standards.
Monitor and verify application methods (brush, roller, spray) are as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
Check wet film thickness (WFT) during application and dry film thickness (DFT) after curing.
Ensure correct number of coats and curing time between coats are followed
Ensure all coated areas meet SAES, vendor requirements, and manufacturer’s guidelines.
Prepare coating dossiers for final handover, including inspection records, paint reports, and approvals.
