Project Manager, Design & Site Operations

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead our team of 8-10 talented designers and oversee critical aspects of project execution from concept to completion. This multifaceted role requires a blend of strong leadership, meticulous organization, design expertise, and on-site management. You'll be the central point of contact for project timelines, team coordination, and direct reporting to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Project Management:
Manage a team of 8-10 designers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Develop and communicate clear project timelines and deliverables to the design team.
Conduct regular follow-ups with designers to ensure progress, address roadblocks, and maintain adherence to schedules.
Allocate design tasks efficiently, considering individual strengths and project requirements.
Implement and refine project management processes to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Design & Technical Oversight:
Design and meticulously review 2D detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance with specifications, and alignment with project goals.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to designers on their work, maintaining high quality standards.
Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards and regulations.

Site Management & Supervision:
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with design specifications.
Arrange and coordinate all necessary site resources, materials, and personnel.
Supervise on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality.
Proactively identify and resolve any on-site challenges or discrepancies.

Reporting & Communication:
Prepare and present regular, comprehensive reports to the CEO on project status, team performance, site progress, and any potential risks or issues.
Maintain clear and consistent communication channels with all stakeholders, including the design team, site personnel, and the CEO.
Document project milestones, changes, and decisions thoroughly.

Qualifications:
Proven experience (+15 years) in project management, ideally within a design, architecture, or construction environment.
Demonstrable experience managing and leading a team of designers or similar creative professionals.
Strong proficiency in 2D
Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership.
A relevant degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and the ability to review and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent understanding of design principles, construction processes, and site operations.
