The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, Safety and quality standards. This role requires expertise in risk management, method statement preparation, client approvals, resource management, and subcontractor coordination to drive successful project delivery and secure cliental approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
Scope Management: Ensure to adhere with the project scope and execute all scope following the specified applicable standards and procedures.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution and timely completion, inspection, acceptance and ensure no rework.
Method Statements & Client Approvals: Prepare detailed method statements and secure necessary client approvals.
Project Material Requirement Identification & Procurement: Determine material needs and manage
procurement processes.
Resource Requirement and Management: Identify timely and acquire all required resources. Optimize manpower and equipment utilization for efficiency.
Project Scheduling & Execution: Ensure Progress to maintain the project timelines per approved schedule, ensuring timely completion.
Client Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Site Supervision & Management: Ensure effective site operations, addressing challenges proactively.
Quality & Safety Management: Implement and enforce quality control and safety standards.
Construction Progress and Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress to the Management, discuss challenges, and solutions.
Executed Quantities Measurement & Client Verification: Track completed work and obtain client approval.
Invoicing & Payment Processing: Ensure accurate invoicing, verification, and timely payment collection.
Mobilization & Demobilization: Plan and execute resource deployment and withdrawal.
Inspections & Completion Certificates: Coordinate inspections and secure necessary “Completion Acceptance Certification” Finally form The Client.
Project Closure: Manage administrative of the project after construction completion and securing Completion Acceptance Certificate from Client.
Lessons Learned Register: Document key takeaways for future project improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferably in Civil Engineering. Mechanical and Electrical Engineers are also accepted.
Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in (GULF) Construction management within the Facility Construction Projects
(including Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, Fencing, Temporary Buildings, land development), Civil Construction projects and MEP sectors.
Certification: Certified PMP or CCM are preferred
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, and project execution, and Client Management.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Construction management and Planning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead teams, negotiate contracts, and communicate effectively with
stakeholders.
