Position Overview:
You will be responsible for performance of the Rotoweld clients, from the success of their installations, PRQs, training and troubleshooting. Assisting the sales crew in the technical aspect of the sales might also be part of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to welding and equipment.
• Performance analysis though Tecnar’s web-based ProDataLog.
• Install, start up, and train clients on Rotoweld equipment.
• Assist if required the client on performing its PQRs.
• Assure the integrity of the clients welding programs.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on automated welding systems.
• Train client operators and maintenance teams on equipment use and upkeep.
• Document interventions and create service reports.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams for technical improvements.
• Being the first line of contact in the region and coordinate depending on the need with the service Team at Tecnar.
• Support the sales Team for technical assistance.
Requirements:
• Degree in Welding, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of MIG welding processes.
• Experience as a service technician or 3-5 years as a pipe welder with MIG, or as a welding supervisor.
• Some knowledge about WPS, PQR and welding qualification.
• Some knowledge on inspection techniques (RT, PAUT)
• English speaking and writing.
• Proficient in using Windows and other software.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a field setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
