Job Summary
The Facility Management Lead will oversee and manage all aspects of general services and facility operations, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency of the organization’s buildings and grounds. This role requires leadership in supervising staff, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead and supervise facility management teams, including contractors and general services staff.
-Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and schedules for all facilities.
-Oversee daily operations, including cleaning, waste management, security, and general repairs.
-Manage facility budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
-Liaise with vendors and contractors; negotiate and evaluate service contracts.
-Develop and manage emergency response plans and insurance policies.
Required Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in facility management or general services project leadership.
-Proven experience in supervising teams and managing multi-site operations.
-Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and EHS regulations.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams.
-Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
