Sr. Sales Engineer

Description: Italian valve manufacturer in Bahrain.

We are inviting applications for the position of Sr. Sales Engineer/ Asst. Sales manager (Valves) to reinforce our team in Middle East operations. People with high technical knowledge in Valves ONLY need to apply.

Job Responsibility:

• Sr. Sales Engineer should be capable of establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• The candidate should be able to Manage and interpret customer requirements
• The candidate should be able to Negotiate tender and contract terms
• Meeting regular sales targets
• Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
• Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
• Should target Budget in consultation with the Director.
• Report of most active agencies to be provided to Sales Manager.
• Customer sales analysis (action) report, to be provided to Sales director.
• To review market prices and availability of similar stock items in order to reconsider the sales pricing policy with director
• Adherence to and implementation of Quality Management System.
• Annual budget, sales forecast and marketing planning.
• Follow-up key customers and major consultants.
• Co-ordination with Purchase & Accounts Department to meet customer requirements (price, quality and delivery time).
• To follow-up outstanding payments in consultation with accountant.
• Ensure quality quotations are prepared advising best technical option and commercial alternatives fully meeting the specification and client’s requirements
• Correspondence with clients whenever required (e.g. sensitive matters).
• Expected to work beyond normal hours according to the demand of the job.
• To travel abroad when required.

• Proven relevant experience
• PC literacy and hands on experience with MS Office and Tally.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Sales Aptitude
• Multi-tasking capability
