Senior PV Engineer

JOB TITLE: SENIOR PV ENGINEER (OMANI / Expat)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior PV Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in the field of solar energy and a strong understanding of the local Omani context. The successful candidate will oversee various aspects of electrical installation and construction work related to high-voltage/low-voltage (HV/LV) networks and solar PV plants.
Requirements:
• A minimum of an Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• At least 5 to 6 years of experience in electrical installation and construction works in HV/LV Electrical networks.
• At least two years of specific experience in solar PV plant projects, including design, build, verification, and testing, with involvement in a minimum of 2 PV plant projects.
• Proven experience working in Oman, with a strong understanding of local regulations and standards.
• Completion of Solar Training approved by DCRP.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous professional experience in the GCC, particularly in Oman.
• Proficiency in spoken Arabic.
• Possession of a GCC or Omani driving license.
• IOSH certification.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the construction, operation, and maintenance of HV/LV electrical networks, along with solar PV plant infrastructure.
• Ensure strict compliance with Omani electrical and construction standards.
• Lead, manage, and provide guidance to junior engineering staff.
• Act as a primary point of contact for government departments, clients, and consultants.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in the renewable energy market and technologies.
