We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure timely execution of projects. The Planning Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize resources, mitigate risks, and improve overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules using planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
2. Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions.
3. Coordinate with project teams to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
4. Prepare reports, dashboards,
5. Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Ensure resource allocation aligns with project requirements.
7. Assist in preparing time impact analysis and delay claims if required.
8. Review and validate contractor schedules and progress reports.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in (Gulf) project planning and scheduling.
3. Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred.
Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools.
2. Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
3. Understanding of contract administration and claims management.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
