Purchase Executive (FMCG Industry)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing within the FMCG industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and procure products according to company needs and specifications.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders to maintain optimal inventory.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any procurement or supply chain issues.
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in the FMCG or retail industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of inventory management and supplier evaluation.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local regulations and sourcing best practices.
