Aquaculture Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated aquaculture specialist to oversee the management and growth of our fish farming operations in Hail, Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on sustainable aquaculture practices for various fish species, ensuring high productivity and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the fish farm, including feeding, monitoring, and harvesting.

• Design, implement, and maintain aquaculture systems, such as recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), pond systems, or other setups.

• Monitor water quality, temperature, and other environmental factors critical to fish health.

• Develop strategies for disease prevention and control.

• Optimise feeding schedules and techniques to maximise fish growth.

• Supervise and train farm workers to ensure efficient and safe operations.

• Prepare regular performance reports and analyse farm data for continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards for aquaculture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, Marine Biology, or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fish farming or aquaculture operations.

• Strong knowledge of water treatment systems, fish nutrition, and disease management.

• Experience working with different fish species in various farming systems.

• Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.

• Willingness to relocate to Hail, Saudi Arabia.

نبحث عن أخصائي استزراع مائي ذو مهارات وخبرة للإشراف على إدارة وتنمية عمليات مزارع الأسماك في حائل، المملكة العربية السعودية. تُركِّز هذه الوظيفة على ممارسات الاستزراع المائي المستدام لأنواع متعددة من الأسماك، مع ضمان الإنتاجية العالية والمسؤولية البيئية.

المهام الوظيفية:

• إدارة العمليات اليومية لمزرعة الأسماك بما في ذلك التغذية، المراقبة، والحصاد.

• تصميم وتنفيذ وصيانة أنظمة الاستزراع المائي مثل أنظمة الاستزراع المعاد تدويرها (RAS) أو البرك الزراعية أو غيرها.

• مراقبة جودة المياه ودرجة الحرارة والعوامل البيئية الأخرى الضرورية لصحة الأسماك.

• تطوير استراتيجيات للوقاية من الأمراض ومكافحتها.

• تحسين جداول وتقنيات التغذية لزيادة نمو الأسماك.

• الإشراف على العمال وتدريبهم لضمان عمليات فعّالة وآمنة.

• إعداد تقارير دورية عن الأداء وتحليل بيانات المزرعة لتحسين مستمر.

• ضمان الامتثال للمعايير البيئية والقوانين التنظيمية الخاصة بالاستزراع المائي.

المتطلبات:

• درجة البكالوريوس أو الماجستير في الاستزراع المائي، علوم الثروة السمكية، علم الأحياء البحرية أو المجالات ذات الصلة.

• خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في تشغيل مزارع الأسماك أو عمليات الاستزراع المائي.

• معرفة قوية بأنظمة معالجة المياه، تغذية الأسماك، وإدارة الأمراض.

• خبرة في العمل مع أنواع مختلفة من الأسماك في أنظمة زراعية متنوعة.

• مهارات قيادية وقدرة على إدارة الفرق بشكل فعال.

• استعداد للانتقال إلى حائل، المملكة العربية السعودية.
