Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accounting software.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts; monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Manage payroll processing, including calculating wages, taxes, and benefits.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and general ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., VAT, GST, or income tax).
- Support internal and external audit processes.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Manage organizational documents, including contracts, policies, and HR files.
- Serve as the first point of contact for correspondence, including emails and calls.
- Manage calendars, appointments, and meetings for senior staff.
- Assist with onboarding, maintaining employee records, and addressing administrative HR matters.
