Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise the production team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
2. Plan and schedule production activities, considering available resources, timelines, and production targets.
3. Monitor workflow and prioritize work orders to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
4. Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
6. Conduct regular inspections to guarantee the quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications.
7. Identify process improvements and implement strategies to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
8. Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
9. Manage inventory levels, track material usage, and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
10.Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in joinery manufacturing, with a strong understanding of production processes and techniques.
2. Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
3. In-depth knowledge of joinery materials, machinery, and tools used in the manufacturing process.
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
5. Effective communication skills to liaise with different stakeholders within the organization.
6. Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.
7. Proficiency in relevant software and systems used for production planning and inventory management.
