1) Preparing financial statements
2) Analyze financial reports
3) Assist with audits and taxes
4) Develops accounting processes and procedures
5) Forecasting
6) Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
7) Management accounting
8) Managing internal controls
9) Supervising accounting staff
10) Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets
11) Coordinating Accounting functions and programs
12) Participate in financial standards setting
13) Prepare documentation for external auditors
14) Preparing tax returns
15) Bank reconciliation
16) Develop financial procedures to improve efficiency
17) Gaap knowledge required
18) Maintaining the general ledger
19) Performs budget audits
20) Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
21) Reconciling balance sheets
22) Approve payroll checks
23) Audit financial transactions
24) Directing other employees and junior accountants
