Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
The Sales Manager is responsible for directing and overseeing all sales-related activities to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share in line with the company’s objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can build strong client relationships, drive new business opportunities, and ensure sustainable growth in the highly competitive contracting and construction industry of KSA. The Sales Manager will act as a key liaison between the company and clients, ensuring that the company’s services are positioned effectively in the market while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, and continuously refine sales strategies, aligning with company objectives and market trends.

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve individual and collective performance goals.

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in contracting and construction markets, including government and private sector projects.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring trust, loyalty, and repeat business.

Oversee and ensure timely submission of bids, tenders, proposals, and quotations, coordinating with estimation and project teams.

Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.

Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools and sales reports.

Stay abreast of market dynamics, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and government regulations affecting the construction sector.

Ensure effective resolution of escalated client issues, complaints, or disputes in coordination with relevant departments.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales targets with company growth objectives and project delivery.


QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline.
MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Strategic Management is highly preferred.


EXPERIENCE
8–10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 4–5 years in a managerial role.
Strong background in sales within the construction, contracting, or infrastructure sector in KSA.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Experience handling government projects, tendering processes, and large-scale client negotiations.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to inspire high performance.
Advanced negotiation, persuasion, and deal-closing skills.
Deep understanding of contracting and construction market dynamics in KSA.
Strong business acumen with a results-driven approach.
Analytical ability to assess sales trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
High level of organizational, time management, and planning abilities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Arabic to engage effectively with local clients and government entities.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting systems."
