Job Summary:
The Quantity Surveyor (QS) is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The QS ensures that building projects are completed within budget and to the required standards. This role involves cost estimation, contract administration, procurement, and valuation tasks across various project phases.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
o Prepare and analyze cost estimates for projects.
o Assist in preparing budgets and financial plans.
o Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budget.
• Tendering & Procurement:
o Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ).
o Analyze submitted tenders and assist in contractor selection.
o Review and negotiate contract terms.
• Contract Administration:
o Manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
o Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
o Handle contract variations, claims, and disputes.
• Project Valuations & Reporting:
o Conduct periodic valuations of work in progress (WIP).
o Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.
o Prepare regular financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Cost Control:
o Identify risks and develop cost-saving solutions.
o Manage cost tracking, change management, and reporting systems.
o Advise on potential cost implications of design or construction changes.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, AIQS, CEng) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (KSA or GCC experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements in KSA.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, Excel).
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preference will be given to candidate residing in Al Khobar/Dammam/Jubail
