Security System Engineer

Job requirement

• Design customized security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems, based on client requirements and project specifications.
• investigate software errors, configuration conflicts, and performance issues to restore normal.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on security systems to uphold their reliability and operational.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct functional testing and commissioning of security systems.
• Troubleshoot connectivity failures, device malfunctions, and integration gaps. Access Control Systems.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying software or system problems and implement efficacy.
• 10 or more years’ work experience as a Security system Engineer or related position.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Milestone, Genetec, Lenel, Honeywell, or equivalent) are an added adva.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of network protocols, architecture, and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security hardware and software.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and databases (SQL preferred)
• should be able to think creatively and find innovative solutions to complex security problems.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis for software, hardware, and integration issues.
