5+ years of work experience as a BIM Modeler


The BIM Modeler is required to possess strong computer CAD/BIM and knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical services to produce 3D/2D dimensional models required for shop drawings and as-builts productions, coordination, and clash detection.
Specific Responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate work with the BIM coordinator and Lead Engineers for timely completion of deliverables
• Support the BIM Coordinator and Lead Engineers in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
• Develop 3D/2D dimensional models using Revit and Civil 3D required for shop drawings and as-builts preparation, clash reporting and presentation aligned with the project LOD requirements and modeling standards.
• Extract 3D models for clash analysis, schedule review and QS.
• Ensure coordination of all Model interfaces with other disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage
• Ensure all Models, drawings and deliverables are checked to comply with project and company quality standards and BIM
requirements.
• Prepare the engineering drawings from the model that comprises of basic arrangements, layouts, profiles, sections etc.
• Develop and extract 2D geometry from the models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.

Job Qualifications

As a BIM Modeler you will need to be highly organized and can deal with multiple tasks simultaneously. The Successful candidate will possess strong skills on CAD/BIM with the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels. Specific qualification includes:
• Certification in CAD/BIM or drafting studies is preferred
• 5+ years of work experience as a BIM Modeler
• Excellent modeling knowledge in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navis Works & AutoCAD
• Knowledge in mechanical and/or electrical building systems and infrastructure utilities
• Good PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)



Please note we are not transferring iqam that this is a supplier base job with handsome salary package.
