We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair cash counting machines, QMS, Self Service Kiosk and other cash-handling equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting abilities and a customer-first attitude. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients' equipment runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation: Set up the machines at client locations, ensuring proper functionality.
• Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure machines operate efficiently.
• Repair: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machines, often on-site.
• Customer Support: Provide training and support to clients on machine operation and features.
• Collaborate with the technical support team and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and client site requirements.
• Maintain service tools, test equipment, and inventory of spare parts.
• Travel to various customer locations as required (regional/national).
• Documentation: Maintain records of service visits, repairs, and inventory of parts.
Required Skills:
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues quickly and effectively.
• Communication: Clear communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage service schedules and prioritize tasks.
Qualifications:
• Degree or certification in electronics, engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of field service, technical support, or equipment maintenance experience preferably with electro-mechanical or banking equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in mechanical and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize service calls.
Work Environment:
• Field-based role, requiring travel to various client locations.
• May involve working in different environments, including retail and banking settings.
