Job Title: Biomedical Engineer / Medical Devices Maintenance Specialist (ARABIC SPEAKING)

Job Summary
We (Al-Habib Company) are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Engineer / Medical Devices Maintenance Specialist to join our Medical & Biomedical Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment, as well as managing biomedical tenders in compliance with Saudi Arabia’s regulations. The role requires fluency in both English and Arabic, along with strong technical expertise in medical device systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Medical Equipment Maintenance & Repair
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medical devices (e.g., imaging systems, patient monitors, ventilators, lab equipment).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Calibrate and test medical equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs and equipment history.
2. Biomedical Tenders & Procurement:
• Prepare, review, and submit technical specifications for biomedical tenders in Saudi Arabia.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement and government entities for tender submissions and approvals.
• Stay updated on Saudi medical device regulations (SFDA) and tender processes.
3. Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure all medical equipment meets SFDA (Saudi Food & Drug Authority) and international standards (ISO, CE, FDA).
• Maintain documentation for equipment servicing, warranties, and contracts.
• Assist in audits and inspections related to biomedical equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Equipment Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medical device maintenance and biomedical tenders in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of SFDA regulations and medical equipment standards.
• Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken & written).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Certifications (Optional):
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
• Project management or tender-related certifications
Salary Packages:
