### **Job Title: Solar Engineer**

#### **Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Solar Engineer** to design, develop, and manage solar energy projects from concept through implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems, electrical design, and renewable energy technologies.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**

* Design and develop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
* Conduct site assessments to evaluate solar potential and system requirements.
* Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and system layouts using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst).
* Analyze and select appropriate components such as panels, inverters, batteries, and mounting systems.
* Ensure system designs comply with industry standards, local regulations, and client requirements.
* Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
* Perform performance analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of existing systems.
* Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
* Stay updated on new technologies, trends, and best practices in the solar energy sector.

#### **Requirements:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
* Proven experience in solar PV system design and engineering.
* Proficiency in solar design tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, IEC), grid-tied and off-grid systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Certifications like NABCEP (preferred but not mandatory).

* Familiarity with permitting and utility interconnection processes.
