We are looking for a skilled and experienced **Engine Mechanic** to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of engines, including those in vehicles, generators, and industrial machines. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of engine components and systems, along with strong problem-solving skills.

* Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on diesel and petrol engines.
* Inspect engine components, fuel systems, and ignition systems for wear and damage.
* Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
* Dismantle and reassemble engines using proper tools and procedures.
* Replace or repair parts such as pistons, valves, bearings, and gaskets.
* Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot engine performance issues.
* Test engines after repairs to ensure proper functioning and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
* Keep accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
* Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work area.
* Stay up-to-date with new technologies and service techniques.

#### **Requirements:**

* High school diploma or technical certificate in mechanics or automotive technology.
* Proven experience as an engine mechanic (automotive, marine, industrial, or aviation, depending on context).
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engine systems.
* Ability to read and interpret service manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Good physical stamina and attention to detail.

* Vocational training or certification in engine repair (ASE, ITI, etc.).
