We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT Officer to support and maintain our organization's computer systems, hardware, software, and networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring system security, and contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.

Provide first-line support for end-users regarding hardware, software, and networking issues.

Monitor and maintain company networks, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.

Manage inventory of IT assets and maintain documentation.

Assist in IT-related projects such as system upgrades or rollouts.

Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.

Perform regular backups and system updates.

Support video conferencing and other digital communication tools.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in an IT support or similar role.

Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

Familiarity with network administration and system security.

Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Windows and Linux-based systems.

Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and antivirus tools.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Problem-solving mindset with a high attention to detail.
