We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Safety Officer to join our team and oversee safety operations across our warehouse or food industry facilities. The ideal candidate will be smart, well-versed in safety standards, and capable of driving a culture of safety compliance and risk prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections.
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Develop and deliver safety training programs for staff.
Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and records.
Coordinate with department heads to ensure safe work practices.
Drive continuous improvement in safety standards and culture.
Requirements:
NEBOSH Certificate (IGC or equivalent) – Mandatory
Certification and practical experience in ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in the warehouse/logistics sector or food industry
Strong understanding of local labor and safety laws
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Smart, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Proficient in MS Office and safety management systems
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
First Aid and Fire Safety Certification
Experience in behavior-based safety (BBS) programs
