General Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and skilled General Technician to carry out routine maintenance and repair tasks across various trades in the hotel, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building upkeep. The ideal candidate will ensure that all hotel facilities are well-maintained to guarantee a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or other departments.

Assist in routine preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues efficiently and safely.

Operate and maintain hand and power tools used in daily work.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and equipment.

Support technicians from other trades as required.

Record and report all completed tasks and any issues to the supervisor.

Follow all health and safety protocols and hotel engineering standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or technical certificate in general maintenance or related field.

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in general maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.

Ability to use common hand and power tools.

Good physical condition and ability to perform manual work.

Team player with good communication and time management skills.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to emergencies.
