We are looking for a Procurement Manager is a professional responsible for our organization's purchasing process, ensuring that goods, services, and materials are acquired efficiently and at the best possible price.
To manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that the procurement process aligns with company goals and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
2. Negotiation: Negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers to secure the best deals for the company.
3. Inventory Management: Ensuring that the organization maintains the correct amount of inventory, avoiding shortages or overstocking.
4. Budgeting and Cost Control: Managing procurement budgets, monitoring expenditures, and finding cost-saving opportunities.
5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring procurement practices follow legal and regulatory guidelines while managing potential risks in the supply chain.
6. Forecasting: Anticipating future demand and making purchasing decisions to meet company needs.
7. Team Leadership: Leading a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and setting performance goals.
8. Reporting and Documentation: Keeping accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and supplier performance metrics.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure favorable deals and resolve issues with suppliers.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures.
• Project Management: Managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
• Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgets, cost control, and value optimization.
• Communication: Effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
Education & Experience:
• A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is often required.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications like Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) may be preferred
