PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

Job Title: Project Co-ordinator
Location: Bahrain
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Controller to join our team in the Aluminum and Steel industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project finances, coordinating project activities, and ensuring timely and within-budget project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Financial Management:
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
- Analyze and report on project expenses, identify areas for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
2. Project Coordination:
- Assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with various departments (production, logistics, procurement) to ensure project deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks.
3. Cost Control and Risk Management:
- Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses and provide recommendations.
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans.
4. Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit project reports to stakeholders (internal/external).
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project team members, stakeholders and external partners.
- Communicate project updates, issues and changes to relevant parties.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Project Management or related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project control or management, preferably in the Aluminum and Steel industry.
3. Strong knowledge of project management principles, financial management and accounting.
4. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and ERP systems.
5. Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CMA, CPA).
2. Experience with Aluminum and Steel industry-specific software.
3. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
