About Us
We are a new Quick Service Restaurant start up establishment specializing in delicious rotisserie chicken and gourmet burgers. We're seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our kitchen team.
Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Rotisserie Chicken and Burger Chef to prepare and cook high-quality meals to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Rotisserie Chicken:
1. Prepare and cook rotisserie chickens to perfection.
2. Season and marinate chickens according to recipes.
3. Monitor chicken cooking times and temperatures.
4. Maintain rotisserie equipment cleanliness and organization.
Burger Preparation:
1. Prepare and cook burgers to order (beef, chicken, veggie).
2. Assemble burgers with toppings and condiments.
3. Maintain burger grill cleanliness and organization.
General Kitchen Duties:
1. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
2. Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
3. Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation.
4. Manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
6. Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment, priority if in Saudi Arabia.
2. Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
3. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols.
4. Excellent cooking and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Team player with effective communication skills.
7. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift 25 kg.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with rotisserie cooking and burger preparation.
2. Certification in food safety and handling.
3. Knowledge of menu engineering and cost control.
4. Familiarity with kitchen management software.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Shifts may vary (morning, afternoon, evening).
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary package between 2000-2500 according to the candidate knowledge.
