Purpose of the Role

To ensure the safety of swimmers and aquatic activities at pools, beaches, or water parks by

preventing accidents, enforcing water safety rules, and responding effectively to emergencies, while

maintaining a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor swimming pool and surrounding areas for safety

• Enforce pool rules consistently and fairly

• Identify and mitigate potential hazards

• Respond promptly to emergencies, administer CPR/First Aid as required

• Maintain safety equipment and monitor water conditions (pH, chlorine levels if needed)

• Handle lost & found procedures professionally

• Maintain accurate incident and daily reports

• Engage with guests politely, fostering positive public relations

• Ensure high personal grooming standards

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Minimum 10th pass with valid DM certification

Experience: 1–2 years lifeguard experience preferred

Key Skills:

• Lifeguarding & First Aid certification

• Strong swimming and rescue abilities

• Alertness, vigilance, and teamwork

• Good communication skills

• Physical fitness and stamina
