About Us: We are a renowned 5-star luxury hotel, recognized for delivering exceptional guest experiences and unparalleled service. As we continue to uphold our reputation for excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead and manage our housekeeping team.

Position Summary: The Director of Housekeeping will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and operational efficiency are maintained throughout the property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering a luxury experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
•Act as a brand ambassador, representing the hotel and housekeeping department, ensuring high morale and a positive working environment.
•Lead and manage the housekeeping team, overseeing staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain the highest service standards.
•Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.
•Address guest complaints and requests promptly, ensuring VIP and repeat guests receive exceptional service.
•Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and operational efficiency.
•Monitor inventory levels, approve requisitions, and implement cost control measures to maintain budget efficiency.
•Coordinate with other departments, including Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry, to ensure smooth operations.
•Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to guarantee quality assurance.
•Promote internal activities and events to engage and inform the housekeeping team.

Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality or Room Division
Competent user of desktop applications and hotel applications
Languages: fluent in English and a end language would be a plus
•Diploma Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
•Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a senior housekeeping role within a luxury hotel environment.
•Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and training a diverse team.
•Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness standards.
•Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
•Proficient in using hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
