We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rooms to join our team and lead our Rooms Division to new heights of excellence.
Position Summary: The Director of Rooms will be responsible for overseeing the entire Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Services. This role requires a strategic leader with a passion for delivering top-tier guest experiences while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of luxury hotel operations, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage the Rooms Division, ensuring seamless daily operations across all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Services.
•Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, maximize occupancy rates, and optimize revenue opportunities.
•Monitor and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, guest service, and overall operational efficiency.
•Collaborate closely with other department heads to ensure a cohesive and consistent guest experience throughout the property.
•Drive staff training, development, and engagement initiatives to create a motivated and service-oriented team.
•Analyze and manage financial performance, including budget preparation, cost control, and revenue forecasting.
•Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent delivery of luxury service and compliance with brand standards.
•Address guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for immediate resolution and guest satisfaction.
•Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the guest experience.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the Rooms Division of a luxury hotel &resort
•Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
•Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
•Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team to deliver exceptional guest service.
•Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
