Understand principle of operations of pumps, wells and have ability to troubleshoot
systems.
2. Travel to job site and stay overnight as needed.
3. Service and install commercial pumping systems and water treatment equipment.
4. Responsible for sizing pumps for different applications.
5. Sell wells, pumps, and water treatment equipment as needed.
6. Keep service truck stocked and maintained.
7. Take night calls for service on a regular basis.
8. Fill out all paperwork properly, accurately, and in a timely fashion including job
worksheets and timecards.
9. Keep equipment and designated yard area neat and clean at all times.
10. Be familiar with the safe and general operation of all equipment used on the job site,
troubleshooting any mechanical problems in the field and ensure that the assistant can
do the same.
11. Help out in other areas as needed.
12. Wear clean uniforms and be neat in appearance.
13. Take part in training sessions, workshops, etc.
14. Maintain good communication with customers, fellow employees and manager.
15. Promote Traut Companies products and services.
16. Follow all Traut Companies and DOT Safety Rules, Procedures and Policies.
17. Work with customers and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner.
18. Be responsible for keeping a balanced inventory while keeping waste to a minimum.
19. Understand development of all types of wells.
20. Understand use of electrical instruments including 1 and 3 phase electrical systems and
components.
21. Ability to have license for, and work with, explosives in a safe manner.
22. Ability to keep co-works, clients and equipment safe.
