We are hiring Quality Manager
Job Summary:
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality control systems and processes to ensure the consistent production of safe, compliant, and high-quality food products. The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality assurance professionals and work closely with production, procurement, and other departments to uphold the company's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and oversee comprehensive quality control procedures, including inspection, testing, and documentation, to monitor product quality at all stages of production
Develop and continuously improve quality management systems and programs to meet or exceed industry, regulatory, and customer requirements
Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to perform their duties effectively
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, and other teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
Conduct regular internal audits and manage external audits and inspections to maintain compliance with food safety regulations, such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards
Analyze quality data, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings to senior management to support data-driven decision-making
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in food quality and safety, and implement strategic changes as needed
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and regulatory agencies regarding quality-related matters and represent the company's quality standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in food science, quality management, or a related field
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a quality management role within the food manufacturing industry
Thorough understanding of food safety regulations, advanced quality control methods, and comprehensive quality management systems
Proven track record of implementing successful quality initiatives and driving continuous improvement
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in data analysis, statistical process control, and report generation
Certification in HACCP, LEAN, Six Sigma, or other relevant quality management methodologies is highly desirable
