Personal Chef

We are currently in search of an experienced Chef to join our household staff as the Family Home Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared and served to the highest standards, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. It is essential that the ideal candidate have a passion for cooking and a strong desire to create healthy meals that meet the family's dietary needs and preferences. The candidate will be responsible for:

Preparing daily meals for the family.
Cater for special events and dinner parties.
Plan menus for all meals, including snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Shop for groceries and other necessary kitchen supplies.
Manage the kitchen, including equipment maintenance, inventory control, and food storage.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely and professional manner.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of the family.
Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, if necessary.

Eligibility Criteria :
Proven experience working in a five star hotel or fine-dining restaurant
Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
Exceptional culinary skills and ability to create a variety of dishes to meet the family's dietary needs and preferences
Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and execute daily meals, as well as special events and dinner parties
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of the family
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with family members, guests, and vendors
Ability to manage kitchen staff, if necessary, including hiring, training, and scheduling
Knowledge of proper food handling and safety protocols to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the family's schedule
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to shop for groceries and other necessary kitchen supplies
