Researcher – Emerging Technologies & Strategy (Remote)

We are seeking a Researcher with a technical background who can bridge deep research, emerging technologies, and market strategy. The role involves creating consulting-grade strategy studies presented in MBB-style slides (McKinsey, BCG, Bain).

You will combine technical understanding of new technologies with structured research and analysis, leveraging generative AI tools to accelerate insights. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge topics shaping the future of industries and economies.


???? Responsibilities
- Research emerging technologies (AI, data, cloud, cybersecurity, biotech, energy tech, etc.) and their markets, ecosystems, and policy implications.
- Analyze technical reports, patents, and industry data to extract actionable insights.
- Use Gen-AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, RAG systems) for accelerated research and synthesis.
- Frame insights into clear storylines and frameworks (SCQA, MECE, pyramid principle).
- Produce MBB-style slides that clearly communicate complex ideas.
- Support the creation of market studies, investment memos, and strategy briefs.

???? Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a technical field (with exposure to strategy or market research).
- Strong ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into strategic insights.
- Skilled at finding and validating information (academic, industry, and policy sources).
- Experience preparing MBB-style PowerPoint slides (structured frameworks, visuals, charts).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic a plus).
- Curious, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset.
