The Senior Accountant Position

Responsibilities:
 Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
 Develop and manage budgets, as well as create financial forecasts.
 Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
 Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
 Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
 Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
 Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
 Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
 Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
 Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes.
 Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies.
 Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
 Understand expense accounts and cost centers
 Understands compliance issues around accounts receivables and accounts payable processes, VAT & Withholding Tax
 Maintaining the billing system
 Generating invoices and account statements
 Performing account reconciliations
 Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
 Producing monthly financial and management reports
 Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
 Assisting in general financial management and analysis


Qualifications:
 Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA ICWA Inter or equivalent certification preferred.
 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with [5] years in a leadership position.
 In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.
 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 Proficiency in accounting software SAP Preferred and Advance Microsoft Excel Preferred
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
