Job Description:
As a Commis, you will be an integral part of our kitchen, responsible for supporting the preparation of high-quality dishes and ensuring the smooth operation of the culinary department. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place
Executing cooking tasks under the guidance of senior kitchen staff
Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in your designated work area
Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure the timely and precise execution of dishes
Continuously learning and honing culinary skills through training and hands-on experience
Requirements:
Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen setting is preferred
Culinary degree or relevant certification is desirable
Strong passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to excellence
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards
