Job Responsibilities:
1. Cost management: responsible for the preparation of project budgets, cost control and cost analysis, and supervision of the economic implementation of the project.
2. Quantity surveying: preparation and review of bills of quantities according to project requirements, including measurement of materials, labor, equipment, etc.
3. Contract management: drafting and reviewing contract documents, including bidding documents, contract terms, change notices, etc., to ensure the legality and integrity of the contract.
4. Change management: tracking and managing changes in the project, assessing the impact of changes on cost and schedule, and coordinating business negotiations with contractors.
5. Cost estimation: estimating and forecasting project costs based on design plans and construction schedules to provide a basis for project decision-making.
6. Reporting and communication: providing cost and contract reports to the project management team and stakeholders, coordinating the interests of all parties, and resolving related issues.
Job requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor degree or above, usually related majors are required, such as civil engineering, construction engineering, engineering management, etc.
2. Major: Have professional knowledge in engineering surveying, cost management, contract management, etc.
3. Professional title: Have relevant intermediate professional title or certificate, such as registered engineer, registered surveyor, registered constructor, etc.
4. Professional qualification: Have relevant professional qualification certificates, such as RICS membership, quantity surveyor qualification certificate, etc.
5. Work experience: More than 10 years of experience in engineering project management or engineering surveying is required.
6. Skills: Have good mathematics, statistics and computer skills, and be able to use relevant engineering surveying software and cost management tools proficiently
7. Skill requirements: Have English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, good communication skills, team management skills, problem solving skills and decision-making skills; proficient in project management tools and OFFICE office software, familiar with CAD and P6, etc.
8. Other requirements: Have a strong sense of responsibility, stress resistance and teamwork spirit, and those with experience in quantity surveying projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East are preferred.
