Key Responsibilities:
Direct and manage daily site operations, ensuring construction progress aligns with approved drawings, project schedules, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers (structural & MEP), consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate execution and resolve any design or construction conflicts.
Plan, prepare, and track construction schedules using software tools like MS Project or Primavera P6 to ensure timely milestone achievement.
Monitor construction expenditures and maintain tight cost control to prevent budget overruns; initiate corrective measures when required.
Oversee the performance of site teams and subcontractors, ensuring productivity targets, workmanship quality, and safety practices are consistently upheld.
Conduct routine site inspections to enforce quality control procedures and proactively address any technical issues or execution delays.
Manage and process all project variations and change orders, ensuring approvals are documented and impacts analyzed.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of all materials, equipment, and resources.
Maintain comprehensive and organized project records, including daily progress reports, inspection logs, material delivery records, and meeting summaries.
Communicate regularly with all project stakeholders to provide updates, escalate issues, and support decision-making processes.
Ensure smooth project close-out, overseeing final inspections, snag rectification, and handover documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in a senior site or construction management role.
Prior work experience with Grade A or B construction contracting companies is essential.
Hands-on leadership of high-rise towers, luxury villas, or mixed-use developments is mandatory.
Deep understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, labor deployment, and contractual obligations.
Experience in managing large project teams of 300+ personnel and supervising multiple trades and subcontractors.
Capable of initiating and leading a new project department, including setup and process implementation.
Proficient in project planning and documentation tools: Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
Strong leadership skills with effective communication, conflict resolution, and team coordination abilities.
Well-versed in local authority regulations, safety standards, and international quality codes.
Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
