Job Title: Lifting Supervisor
Location: Riyadh
Experience: 7-8 years in lifting supervision within the construction industry, preferably in villa or similar projects

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Lifting Operations:
- Oversee and coordinate all lifting activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution of lifts, including cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during lifting operations.

2. Pre-Lift Planning:
- Conduct thorough pre-lift meetings with the team to discuss lift plans, risks, and safety measures.
- Develop detailed lift plans, including load calculations, crane positioning, and rigging procedures.

3. Safety Management:
- Ensure all lifting operations adhere to local safety regulations, industry standards, and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of lifting equipment and operations.

4. Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of lifting crew, including riggers, signalmen, and crane operators.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure the team is competent and compliant with safety standards.

5. Equipment Inspection and Maintenance:
- Ensure all lifting equipment is inspected regularly and maintained in good working condition.
- Keep records of equipment inspections, certifications, and maintenance activities.

6. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other supervisors to ensure lifting operations align with project timelines and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with the team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

7. Incident Reporting and Investigation:
- Report any incidents or accidents related to lifting operations promptly and participate in incident investigations.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.

Requirements:

- Experience: 7-8 years of experience in lifting supervision, preferably in GCC countries, with a focus on construction projects (villa projects preferred).
- Certifications: Valid certifications in lifting operations, such as crane operation, rigging, and safety management.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of lifting operations, safety regulations, and industry standards in the GCC.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as lift plans and engineering drawings.
- Proficient in using lifting equipment and tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various weather conditions, with frequent site visits and physical inspections.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with GCC construction standards and regulations (e.g., Saudi Building Code, UAE construction regulations).
- Experience with large-scale villa or residential construction projects.
- Knowledge of risk management and safety protocols specific to lifting operations.
