ELV Systems Project Engineer With KNX Programming Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems Project Engineer with expertise in KNX programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of ELV systems, with a strong focus on KNX-based automation solutions. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, project management skills, and a deep understanding of ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Implementation:
o Develop detailed designs for ELV systems including CCTV, access control, public address, fire alarm, and home automation systems.
o Program and configure KNX systems for residential and commercial applications.
o Integrate various ELV systems to ensure seamless operation and functionality.
• Project Management:
o Manage ELV system projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
o Coordinate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project specifications are met.
o Oversee the installation and commissioning of ELV systems on-site.
• Technical Support and Maintenance:
o Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ELV and KNX systems.
o Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure system reliability and performance.
o Train clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of installed systems.
• Documentation and Reporting:
o Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including designs, test results, and user manuals.
o Generate regular project status reports for management and clients.

Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ELV systems engineering.
o Proven experience in programming and configuring KNX systems.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of ELV systems and their components.
o Proficiency in KNX programming and configuration.
o Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Certifications:
o KNX Partner Certification is highly desirable.
o Additional certifications in ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, fire alarm systems) are a plus.
