The facility manager will oversee the comprehensive management and maintenance of multiple facilities. This role requires strategic oversight to ensure facilities are operated and maintained to meet the specific needs of various projects. The portfolio includes commercial, educational institutions, hotels, hospitals, and landscaped environments. The incumbent will ensure all facilities operate efficiently, are maintained to the highest standards, and provide a safe and welcoming environment for all users.

-Key Responsibilities:

To deliver, at all times, high-quality FM services within the business by applying professional expertise and management along with compliance against the standards and contract, thus ensuring added value, increased productivity, and cost efficiencies.

The development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to ensure all facilities remain in optimal condition.
Active maintenance and repair tasks, coordinating with in-house teams and external contractors as necessary.
Compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.

-Team Leadership and Development:

Mentor a diverse team of maintenance staff and external vendors.
A culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and excellence within the facility management team.
Perform performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team skills and efficiency.
100% compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.

-Budgeting and Financial Management:

Manage the facility management budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
Financial planning for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.
Expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

-Vendor and Contract Management:

Manage contracts with suppliers, service providers, and contractors.
Service agreements are met, and performance standards are consistently high.
Vendor performance and address any issues promptly.

-Stakeholder Engagement:

Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding facility management issues.
Effectively work with senior management, project teams, and other stakeholders to address needs and concerns.
Present regular reports on facility management activities, performance, and strategic initiatives.

-Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
Professional FM certification is preferable

-Minimum Experience:

Minimum 8 years of experience as a facilities manager in facilities management.
Experience in Hard & Soft FM Services.
Experience in the CMMS/CAFM system.

-Language:

English and Arabic: Advanced
