Job Title: Senior Animator

Position Overview
The Senior Animator is responsible for leading high-quality animation projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring creative excellence and technical precision. This role involves creating compelling animations for various media formats, guiding junior animators, and collaborating closely with designers, video editors, and other creative team members to bring stories and concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Technical Execution
Develop and produce 2D, and motion graphics animations for commercials, events, social media, and other digital platforms.
Interpret creative briefs and translate them into engaging animation sequences.
Ensure consistency in animation style and brand guidelines across projects.
Apply advanced animation principles including timing, weight, and character performance.
Optimize animation files for various outputs and platforms.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead animation projects, overseeing the quality and delivery timelines.
Mentor and provide feedback to junior animators and motion designers.
Collaborate with the creative, production, and post-production teams to ensure smooth workflows.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering creative input and innovative ideas.
Project Management
Manage multiple animation projects simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines and resources.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address feedback.
Maintain organized project files and ensure adherence to company archiving procedures.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum of 5–7 years of professional animation experience, preferably in an agency or production environment.
Skills
Expert-level proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or 3D software like Cinema 4D, Maya, or Blender.
Strong storytelling, visual design, and conceptual thinking skills.
Deep understanding of animation principles and motion design trends.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred
Experience in creating content for events, large screens, or interactive installations.
Knowledge of sound design basics to complement animations.
