Warehouse Operations Management

We are looking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced industrial or construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations Management
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.

Ensure accurate inventory control through regular audits and cycle counts.

Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce delays.

2. Team Leadership
Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff including forklift operators and clerks.

Create shift schedules and assign tasks to meet operational goals.

3. Inventory & Asset Management
Maintain optimal stock levels to support business needs.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Oversee maintenance and tracking of heavy equipment (if applicable).

4. Safety & Compliance
Enforce OSHA and internal warehouse safety protocols.

Ensure full compliance with local regulations, including customs and hazardous materials handling.

5. Reporting & Technology
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to manage inventory.

Generate reports on key performance indicators such as stock levels, discrepancies, and order turnaround times.

6. Vendor & Customer Coordination
Communicate effectively with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments (e.g., Sales, Maintenance).

Resolve logistics issues such as delays, damages, or returns promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum 5 years in warehouse management, ideally in the construction or industrial machinery sector.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Strong understanding of inventory control methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO).

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
