We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager with Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas EPC projects, with at least 5 years in an Engineering Manager or senior supervisory role. to oversee and coordinate detailed engineering activities for a major Saudi Aramco project involving the relocation of water wells and associated infrastructure in the North Ghawar field.
The selected candidate will represent the LSTK Contractor and supervise engineering deliverables developed by a Saudi Aramco-approved General Engineering Services Plus (GES+) contractor, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, and schedule milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
· Act as the primary engineering focal point between the LSTK Contractor, Saudi Aramco (Client), and the GES+ engineering subcontractor.
· Supervise and review all engineering activities carried out by the GES+ Contractor, ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and alignment with project objectives.
· Drive the timely development and approval of engineering deliverables at various stages, including:
o 30% Design Package
o 60% Design Package
o 90% Design Package
o Issued for Construction (IFC) Package
· Coordinate closely with construction, procurement, and commissioning teams to ensure design intent is implemented in the field.
· Support construction execution through engineering supervision, responding to technical queries (TQs), field design changes, and redlining of as-built drawings.
· Participate in regular coordination meetings with Saudi Aramco representatives to provide project updates, resolve issues, and align on technical matters.
· Ensure engineering compliance with Saudi Aramco’s standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
· Manage multidiscipline engineering aspects, including:
o Water Well relocation design
o Piping and Mechanical systems
o Civil and Structural works
o Electrical and Power distribution
o Instrumentation and Control systems
· Monitor and control engineering schedule, risks, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline). Master's degree preferred.
· Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas EPC projects, with at least 5 years in an Engineering Manager or senior supervisory role.
· Proven experience with Saudi Aramco projects and thorough understanding of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Work Processes.
· Prior experience in water well relocation projects, particularly in remote areas such as the North Ghawar field, is highly desirable.
· Strong technical background across multiple engineering disciplines and construction integration.
· Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
· Familiarity with GES+ Contractors and their engineering processes.
· Sound understanding of project life cycle in LSTK (Lump Sum Turn Key) contracts.
· Hands-on experience with engineering coordination across multidiscipline teams.
· Knowledge of regional regulatory and environmental standards.
Work Conditions:
· Based in Saudi Arabia, with frequent travel to remote field locations in the North Ghawar area.
· Fast-paced project environment requiring flexibility and strong problem-solving skills.
· Extended field assignments may be required during construction and commissioning phases.
