We are looking for Lead Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Engineer with 10–15 years of experience in mechanical/rotating equipment engineering, with 5+ years in a Lead Engineer role on Saudi Aramco or similar LSTK/EPC projects.

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Engineer to oversee the mechanical scope of a Saudi Aramco LSTK project involving the relocation of water wells across multiple locations. The role includes engineering design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of submersible pump systems, along with associated piping and mechanical packages. The ideal candidate will ensure that all rotating and static equipment are selected, integrated, and commissioned to meet Saudi Aramco’s technical standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the mechanical engineering scope, with a focus on rotating equipment, particularly submersible pumps used in water wells.

· Review mechanical deliverables issued by Detail-design Engineering Contractor including:

o Equipment specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions, vendor documents, and installation procedures.

· Oversee equipment selection, sizing, and integration, ensuring compliance with process requirements and Aramco standards.

· Evaluate vendor bids through technical bid evaluations (TBE) and participate in vendor meetings, FATs, and document reviews.

· Coordinate closely with piping, electrical, civil, and I&C teams for mechanical integration and interface resolution.

· Monitor vendor and subcontractor engineering deliverables and ensure timely approvals and compliance with the project schedule.

· Provide technical support during installation, alignment, inspection, mechanical completion, and commissioning of rotating equipment.

· Ensure mechanical systems conform to Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES, SAEP, SAMSS) and international codes (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).

· Assist in site troubleshooting, punch-list resolution, and final acceptance of mechanical systems.

· Lead the preparation of as-built documentation, mechanical completion dossiers, and turnover packages.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.

· Minimum 10–15 years of experience in mechanical/rotating equipment engineering, with 5+ years in a Lead Engineer role on Saudi Aramco or similar LSTK/EPC projects.

· In-depth knowledge of:

o Submersible pumps, vertical turbine pumps, and related drive systems

o Pump curves, system head calculations, and NPSH analysis

o Rotating equipment installation, alignment, and troubleshooting

· Experience working on remote water well systems, well pad layouts, and equipment integration.

· Familiarity with Aramco material and mechanical equipment specifications and workflows.

Preferred Skills:

· Aramco-approved Mechanical Engineer (preferred or eligible for fast-track approval).

· Experience with both greenfield and brownfield field development projects.

· Proficiency in mechanical design and analysis tools (e.g., Pump-FLO, AutoPIPE, ANSYS.
