We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Install new HVAC systems including ductwork, thermostats, and related components.
Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and perform repairs as needed.
Replace or repair defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Test systems for proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations.
Educate customers on proper system use, maintenance, and energy-saving techniques.
Keep tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
Valid HVAC technician license (if required by state or local authorities).
2+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical schematics, and system diagnostics.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
Working Conditions:
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
May involve working on rooftops, in crawlspaces, or other confined areas.
Requires use of ladders, hand and power tools, and personal protective equipment.
