Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor – Civil Infrastructure

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in civil infrastructure projects to join our dynamic team in Bahrain. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and project financial control, particularly on large-scale infrastructure works including roads, bridges, drainage, utilities, and earthworks.


Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation for infrastructure projects.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost-related risk assessments.

Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations; manage contract negotiations.

Monitor and control project costs; prepare and present regular cost reports.

Manage all aspects of contract administration, including variations, claims, and payments.

Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure budget and cost compliance.

Measure and verify quantities of work against project progress.

Prepare monthly valuations, interim payment applications, and final accounts.

Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and contractual obligations.

Support value engineering initiatives and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure quantity surveying (Mandatory).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and industry-standard QS software.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

In-depth knowledge of local construction laws, standards, and regulations.

Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Gulf experience is highly preferred.



Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on GCC infrastructure projects.

Familiarity with ERP systems related to construction cost management (optional).
