Parking Technician

Job Summary
looking for a qualified Parking Technician to assist with the installation,
maintenance, and repair of advanced parking systems and supporting infrastructure. This
role is crucial in ensuring the reliable setup, termination, and upkeep of both power and
data systems connected to parking equipment. Key responsibilities include maintaining
devices such as payment machines, barrier systems, ANPR cameras, and signage, along with
performing cable dressing, electrical terminations, and network connections.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technician with strong experience in both electrical
and IT systems, especially in structured cabling, power distribution, and troubleshooting
parking-related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
 Perform cable dressing, routing, and labeling of network and electrical wiring in
accordance with standards.
 Carry out termination of network and electrical (AC/DC power) cables for parking
systems including ticket machines, payment kiosks, barriers etc.
 Install, maintain, and troubleshoot:
- Barrier and Gate Systems
- Automated Payment Terminals
- Surveillance and ANPR camera systems
- Parking Management Software and Control Panels
 Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections for all parking
equipment.
 Execute field-level diagnostics and emergency repairs to minimize system downtime.
 Coordinate with contractors during system rollouts and provide technical support
during site implementations.
 Assist in software configurations, firmware updates, and system commissioning
activities.
 Follow technical drawings and wiring diagrams to ensure proper installation of
equipment.
 Maintain documentation of wiring, terminations, system changes, and site visits.
 Ensure adherence to safety, electrical, and data integrity regulations.
 Provide end-user support and on-site training to site operators as needed
