Job: Estimator - Carpentry And Furniture Manufacturing Company - Only INDIAN

Estimator job is in carpentry and furniture manufacturing involve calculating the total cost required to complete a project. This includes estimating the costs of materials, labor, equipment, and time needed for producing furniture or completing carpentry work.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyse shop drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
Should be able to check and take site measurements to prepare estimation.
Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time and raw material, equipment, and labor expenses
Travel to job sites to gather information on materials needed, labor requirements, and other factors
Read blueprints and technical documents to prepare estimates
Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors on estimates
Evaluate a product’s cost effectiveness or profitability
Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable
Requirements:
Minimum 2 to 5 yrs of Experience as Estimator (in joinery and fit out industry)
Diploma – Civil / Interior / Joinery or equivalent experience
Should be having experience in Joinery & Fit outs and Furniture manufacturing industries.
Strong analytical, communication, and mathematical skills.
